This ambitious project was officially submitted to the Local Civic Committee of Nabatieh, based at the Blessed Hussainiyah Club and headed by Sheikh Abdul Hussein Sadeq. It forms part of a comprehensive urban strategy to restore and revive the city’s historic commercial center, heavily impacted by conflict and neglect.
This redevelopment transforms the historic commercial center into a vibrant, walkable plaza framed by traditional Nabatieh-style stone architecture, complete with:
-A public plaza surrounded by arcades
-Elevated restaurant terraces
-Boutique-style commercial spaces
-Integrated underground parking & tunnel access
-A modern mezzanine layer for multipurpose use
The concept celebrates Nabatieh’s urban soul, blending Ottoman-Lebanese character with today’s needs for resilience, mobility, and culture. This project was developed with respect for civic heritage and designed for long-term social and economic sustainability.
